Morphe and Makeup By Ariel had all the criteria of a match made in heaven. This collaboration did not disappoint. Morphe is one of the best beauty brands on the market right now, as well as a personal favorite. Makeup By Ariel is a talented celebrity makeup artist who has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, like the Kardashians. I had high hopes for this makeup brush set, which I used to create a fresh everyday makeup look.
Packaging & Design
The packaging alone was impressive: a sophisticated and minimal beige case that can easily be used as a home decor piece as well as a brush case. The inside of the box has an inspirational quote from Ariel that will get you hyped up while you’re getting ready.

The brushes themselves come in a sleek and luxurious light beige design that matches the packaging. These look and feel like the premium product they are.
Functionality & Application
Now for the moment of truth! Was this brush set the total package, pretty and practical? The set is a bit of an investment at $100 for 11 brushes and a sponge. This price might seem steep but it’s actually a good deal if the product is right.
I used most of the brushes in the set and was very happy with the results. I used a fluffy concealer brush, a crease brush, a double-ended concealer brush, a big fluffy brush, a blush brush, a foundation brush, and a powder brush. I’m happy to say that all of the brushes were amazing! They blended and moved the product well while feeling soft and comfortable on the skin.
There were three brushes that I didn’t use but I think it’s safe to assume they work just as well as the others. I loved that most of the brushes could be multifunctional. This is something that’s important to remember when applying makeup in general. You might buy a brush that’s advertised as a concealer brush, but find that it also works well for eye shadow. It just depends on the look you want to achieve. That’s another reason I’m loving this Morphe X Makeup By Ariel brushes; they come in a wide variety of sizes and shapes that can be used to create any look you need. The bigger fluffy brushes are perfect for blending liquid foundation but also work well with powder and blush, while the skinny shape of the double-ended brush is an excellent precision tool for products like highlighter and concealer.
Verdict
The Morphe x Makeup By Ariel brush set was worth the coin. Every brush that I tried did its job very well. After just one use I already felt like stocking up on multiples! Combine that with the luxurious packaging and you’ve got yourself an all around bomb brush set. I definitely recommend this set to anyone who’s looking for a high quality and multifunctional brush set.
